Анотація
Abstract. The article focuses on substantiating the aims and tasks of multicultural education, conditions of their implementation into the system of education in Ukraine. The author comes to the conclusion that multicultural education presupposes upbringing in the process of cultural interaction. It aims at establishing favourable relations of mutual understanding between representatives of different cultures in the country. Moreover, multicultural environment in this environment has to form the skills, relations, and knowledge students need to function in their own ethnic culture, the dominant culture of the country, as well as the culture of other ethnic groups.
