Prospective English language and culture teachers professional and methodical training at the bachelor and master levels at higher education institution in Transcarpathia

Abstract

Abstract. The paper aims at describing the course of English language and culture teacher training at an establishment of higher education (EHE) in Transcarpathia (Zakarpatska oblast). The Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College of Higher Education was established in 1996 in Berehove on the initiative of local authorities and educationalists from Hungary, Ukraine’s neighbouring country. Our goal is to give a detailed description of the educational processes our English major students undergo before they obtain a degree at the college.

Резюме. У статті описано процес підготовки вчителів англійської мови та культури в закладі вищої освіти (ЗВО) на Закарпатті. Закарпатський угорський інститут імені Ференца Ракоці II був заснований у 1996 році в місті Берегові за ініціативою місцевої влади та освітян з Угорщини, країни, яка межує з Україною. Наша мета – дати детальний опис процесу підготовки, який проходять студенти зі спеціальності «англійська мова і література» за 4 роки навчання в інституті.
