Abstract

Abstract. Digital transformations have led to changes in all spheres of social and economic life, which has also affected the business activities of business entities. They have led to a significant reorientation of the business development trajectory both at the micro level and at the regional and global levels. The virtualization of business processes requires changes in organizational and methodological support for accounting and reporting. Digitalization also causes changes in the formation of the competencies of specialists required in modern business conditions. In this context, the digitalization of accounting is becoming an important and necessary step in business management, as it allows to increase the speed and accuracy of accounting for business transactions and reduce the risks associated with the security of accounting data. In Ukraine, quite a few businesses have already started using digital technologies for accounting, but many still do not have a sufficient level of digital readiness.
