Анотація

Abstract. This study has highlighted the growing importance of the Hungarian language as a foreign language teaching and learning in Ukraine. The ways of the teaching it are formal and informal as well. Although the conditions and facilities are gradually being solved there are some difficulties in teaching and learning this language. The sort of curriculum at school, lack of curriculum on language courses, the lack of specialized course books, the number of lessons make teaching more complicated. According to the answers it seems that the main problems with language learning are related to the pronunciation, the use of grammar and among young language learners the lack of motivation. Based on these results it is advisable for all teachers to study the methodology of Hungarian as a foreign language teaching. It is worthwhile to do adequate curriculum(s) for all types of language learners. To solve the problems of course books it might be a possible solution to write specialized course books in Transcarpathia. Further research is needed on the topic of difficulties of Hungarian as a forein language learning.
