Abstract

Abstract. The paper notes that the critical human-driven impact on the environment, the reduction of volumes and types of natural resources, the change of their qualitative features leads to the deterioration of ecological conditions of human habitation. Significant improvement of the enlightenment and educational activities of geographers in order to raise the people awareness about the consequences of the environmental footprint is proposed. The essence of the Sustainable Development Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 which is one of the instruments for achieving sustainable economic, social and environmental development is outlined.Резюме. Негативні наслідки діяльності людини в природному середовищі призвели до значного скорочення живих організмів, до зниження об’єктів і якості мінеральних інших видів ресурсів, втрати природних властивостей земельних ресурсів, забруднення атмосферного повітря, загальних втрат природних екологічних властивостей компонентів природи, а в цілому – до значного погіршення якості середовища проживання людини і незворотних, згубних процесів у біосфері.
