Legal background of complementer medicine and folk medicine in Slovakia

Abstract

Abstract. The study deals with the presence of medicinal plants in various areas of human life. It points to the lack of legislation concerning complementary medicine, including folk medicine in Slovakia, which could also govern the use of their methods for the benefit of the people, because law which is wrong can be amended, but none can be applied. Finally, it compares the situation in Slovakia with two neighbouring countries: Hungary and Ukraine.
